All First Impressions wood comes in its natural color, with its natural grain pattern and diverse characteristics. Even pieces from the same tree may differ, which is the beauty of working with wood. Please inform your client that each wood pull is naturally unique and matching the wood or to a wood sample cannot be guaranteed. We do not stain the wood! We do treat it with a nano-ceramic coating to protect it without changing its natural color. If you’d like to stain in the field please call out in your order “untreated” otherwise stain will not take.
